The Open Water Diver certification is the first complete PADI certification and the most popular course worldwide. Anyone who is in good health, enjoy swimming, and loves the sea can earn this certification. For those between the ages of 10 and 14, we offer a PADI Junior Open Water certification.

The course is spread out over 3 days and can be customized to meet your schedule. Since PADI programs are performance-based, you will proceed as you master the course skills allowing you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you. Our courses are all-inclusive, so everything from Theory (which can be learnt either from the textbook or online), pool sessions, open-water dives, and rental equipment are all included.

This license is recognized worldwide, allowing you to dive anywhere you like in the world! You’ll first start with the basics of diving, and develop your skills during the pool sessions to then put them in practice during 4 open water dives. Once you complete the course, you will be certified to dive up to 18m (60ft) in depth.

This has definitely been a life-changing experience for those that have been new to diving!

The course will teach you the fundamentals of diving through a mix of 5 modules focused on theory, 5 on confined water skills training, equipment orientation and troubleshooting techniques, and the 4 open water dives.

Anybody with basic swimming skills and feels comfortable in the water can sign up: a 10 min float test and 200 meter swim (or 300 meters snorkeling) are required prior to certification.
